Nicky Magnelli is a mixed media artist and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of faith, texture and lived experience. Through layered collage, intuitive color and reclaimed materials, she explores themes of identity, restoration and creative courage.
As the founder of Hot Mess Art, Nicky believes art is a place where honesty and healing can meet. She creates not just finished pieces, but spaces for others to experiment, reflect and embrace the beauty of process.

These mixed media canvas prints began as pages in a Bible journaling notebook before being expanded through additional layers of paint, collage, texture, and artistic exploration. What started as personal reflections on Scripture evolved into finished works of art that carry both the intimacy of a journal page and the visual depth of mixed media canvas work. Each piece preserves traces of the original journaling while inviting viewers to discover their own story within the layers.
